Pioneer Carbon is the projects arm of Climate Care, which was established in Oxford in 1998 and one of the world’s leading retailers of carbon offsets.
We have 10 years’ experience of selling emissions reductions in Europe through the voluntary emission reductions markets. Over the last two years we have been closely involved in the development of new market standards for voluntary emissions that give buyers the assurance that they are purchasing high quality and credible emissions reductions. Alongside this we have developed a number of new methodologies for technologies that fall within the voluntary streams.
Our annual turnover is approximately 2 million tonnes of emission reductions and is growing rapidly.
We have offices in Nairobi, Oxford, Ankara, Santiago de Chile and Mauritius.
